Ward Hadaway’s Continuing Professional Development Programme
28th April, 2022
We are delighted to announce the launch of the Ward Hadaway Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Programme; a new programme of HR and employment law training designed for our clients and contacts.
In this programme spread over the year, we look at six key topics which people teams come across day in day out. We will then discuss recent innovations we are seeing, challenges posed by the changing face of the workplace, and recent case law updates. You will have the opportunity to ask questions via the Q&A feature, or our teams will be on hand for drop-in sessions for attendees after each event.
Starting in October 2021 with the following 6 sessions will run throughout the year:
- Recruitment, Contracts of employment and Handbook
- Managing capability: performance and sickness absence
- Grievances and Whistleblowing
- Discrimination and Family friendly rights
- Dealing with misconduct: investigations and disciplinary matters
- Employment Tribunal claims
These sessions are completely free and will take place by Zoom, so they will not disrupt your day. They are perfect for HR professionals and managers who have responsibility for managing people.
Each topic will have three sessions, a general session available for all, a session for those working in schools and a session for those working in the charities sector.
Recordings of the sessions on Recruitment, Contracts of employment and Handbook, managing capability: performance and sickness absence, grievances and whistleblowing and discrimination and family friendly rights can be found below.
The next set of webinars focus on dealing with misconduct – investigations and disciplinary matters. You can find details of the general session here, the charities session here and the education session here.
We hope to see you there.
