HR Protect Hub help

If you are a HR Protect client of Ward Hadaway, you will be able to sign into the hub using the username and password supplied to you. To access the login page, click Login – found right aligned in a red bar near the top of the page.

It is always good practice to log out of any online service once you have finished using it. To log out of the HR Protect Hub, click on Logout, seen in the right side of the grey bar near the top of your screen.

Click Login – found right aligned in a red bar near the top of the page – and then click Forgot password? below the sign in area on the right of the screen. Follow the instructions on screen to reset your password.

The limited access mode allows anyone to read our insights, access general events, and see most FAQs. On the hub, HR Protect clients can also access and download documents, including templates, flowcharts and guidance notes, in addition to returning to favourited documents and sharing content with colleagues. Our Resources can be found via the menu near the top right of the page. Resources are available across several HR and employment law topics, and you can use the Resources menu to access each. Once on the topic page, you will see FAQs and Documents presented as tabs on the right of the page – click on the area you want to explore. Only HR Protect clients will be able to download and view the document resources.

Everyone can see FAQs. Go to a topic within the Resources menu to access them. There will be a list of questions on the screen; to view the answer click on the downward pointing arrowhead to the right. To close the answer, click the upward pointing arrowhead to the right.

To the right of the answer, you will be able to see when the FAQ was last updated. HR Protect clients will be able to use the additional functions under the date – Add to favourites, Share with your organisation, or, when a document is mentioned in the answer, Download document. Click on the words to use the functions.

Only HR Protect clients can download and view the documents. Go to a topic within the Resources menu and click the Documents tab on the right of the screen below the page title. There will be a list of document titles listed on the screen (if available for your topic).

To the right of the answer, you will be able to see when the document was last updated. HR Protect clients will be able to use the functions under the date – Download document, Add to favourites, and Share with your organisation. Click on the words to use the functions.

You must click Download document to view it. The document will be available for you to access in the Downloads folder on your device.

If you see a padlock next to the document titles, you simply need to login or become a HR Protect client to access it.

In the menu at the top right of the page, click Insights & events. Here you can access a wide range of updates and event details listed in date order. Click on the title to read more. HR Protect clients can add insights and evets to their favourites so they can easily revisit them later. You will also see Insights & events content across the hub.

Once logged in, HR Protect clients can add FAQs, documents and insights and events to their favourites. Beside each item on the right, you will see a heart and Add to favourites – click this text to add it to your favourites. To remove it, click Added to your favourites.

To access your favourites, click on Your Account, available within the grey bar at the top of the screen, on the right. Scroll down and you will see Favourites in a row of tabs. Click on it and you will see your favourited items grouped by document, FAQs and insights.

The document resources are available for download by our HR Protect clients only. Login, navigate to the document you want to download, and click Download document. The document will be available for you to access in the Downloads folder on your device. You cannot preview the document on the HR Protect Hub before downloading.

Remember to re-visit the hub periodically to ensure you are using the most up to date version of the document.

HR Protect clients can use the Contact Advisor link in the menu to find their named contacts – scroll down the page to see their photo and access their contact details and bio.

This area is available only to HR Protect clients. To access it, login and click on Your Account, which is right aligned on the grey bar near the top of the screen. Here you will see your details and have quick access to the resource topics.

Further down the page, you will see an overview of any resource updates since you last logged in. There will also be tabs that you can click through to access your Favourites, the details of other user from Your organisation, and the contact details of Your Advisors.

HR Protect clients can access all HR Protect Hub resources in addition to receiving unlimited employment law advice across the year, delivered by experienced specialist lawyers at a single fixed price.
